Abuja Council Legislators Reverse Speaker’s Impeachment

Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) Legislative Council has rescinded the impeachment of Hon. Mathew Danjuma Yare, the speaker and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) loyalist, a day after removing him from his position. The council’s decision to withdraw the impeachment comes amid calls for unity and peace from various stakeholders, including AMAC chairman, Christopher Zakka Maikalangu.
