Car dealers from the Southwest region on Monday staged a protest in Akure, Ondo State, against operatives of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), accusing them of extortion, harassment, and the imposition of illegal duty charges. The demonstration, led by the Association of Motor Dealers of Nigeria (AMDON), took place at the NCS office in Alagbaka.
