2027: It’s time for redirection – Labour Party tells Atiku, Jonathan

The Labour Party, LP, has urged former President GoodluckJonathan and former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar to accept the redirectionwhich Mr. Peter Obi represents. The Interim National Publicity Secretary of the party, TonyAkeni, made this call on Friday while responding to questions in an interviewon Arise Television. “We have a third leg in our appeal; we are also appealing toformer President Jonathan to consider what the majority of Nigerians haveyielded their hearts to pursue. “That is the presidency led by a younger person from theyounger generation, who clicks with the majority of Nigerians by his record ofintegrity, character, and consistency. “Most Nigerians have embraced a presidency led by a youngerperson who resonates with most Nigerians. “What’s more urgent for us is for Atiku Abubakar andGoodluck Jonathan to accept that it’s time for a redirection,” he said.
