Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has responded to a pre-action notice from Kene Nnadi of F.K. Nnadi & Co, Enugu State, alleging irregularities in its Post-UTME process. In a letter dated October 4, 2025, OAU’s Legal Unit questioned the lawyer’s authority to practice, citing his use of an outdated 2024 Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) seal.Signed by Director of Legal Services Yinka Ayantola, the university’s response stated: “The seal affixed to your letter is your 2024 seal. As you are aware, you have a duty to pay your 2025 practicing fee to write as a lawyer. We request you establish your right to practice for the year as required by regulations.” OAU instructed the lawyer to comply with professional standards before proceeding.
