A woman, Zainab Alhassan, on Tuesday divorced her husband, Tijjani Muhammad, after he allegedly refused to repair her damaged phone worth N70,000. Zainab told a Shari’a court that she was no longer interested in the marriage and wanted to end it through Khul’i—a form of divorce where a woman returns her dowry to her husband.
