Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, on Thursday, backed the call for a demonstration calling for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB. Atiku described Kanu’s continued detention as a sore on Nigeria’s conscience. Activist politician, Omoyele Sowore had called for a public protest in Abuja to demand Kanu’s release.
