Defection: ‘I go nowhere, I’ll remain in APC’ – Buhari’s Minister

A former Minister of Transport, Muazu Jaji Sambo, says hewill remain in the All Progressives Congress, APC, stating that he has nointention of moving to another party. Sambo, a Minister under late former president MuhammaduBuhari, made this declaration through his Senior Special Assistant on Media andPublicity, Dr Sam Idiagbonya. “Mu’azu Jaji Sambo goes nowhere; he is core APC. Myprincipal believes in the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency, Bola AhmedTinubu, GCFR, and he believes that soon, Nigerians will begin to reap itsdividends. “After serving as the 2023 PCC campaign coordinator thatbrought the government of the day to power, it would be foolhardy to say he isdecamping. “Sambo is a loyalist and a gentleman who deeply believes inthe Nigerian project. He remains an APC member,” the media aide said. According to him, Sambo believes that his home state,Taraba, can contribute meaningfully to the one trillion dollar economy of theRenewed Hope administration through agriculture. He said Sambo urged the residents of the state to remainresilient and join hands with the government to create a new and better Taraba.
