Kun Khalifat FC have reiterated their determination to retain their Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL status at the end of the 2025–26 season. The Owerri-based club secured a historic victory against nine-time NPFL champions Enyimba last week. However, Kun Khalifat stated that the team would not be carried away by the result of that encounter.
