Nigerian startup Rana Energy raises $3m pre-seed funding to expand operations

Nigerian startup Rana Energy, which has developed an AI-powered platform for clean energy, has raised US$3 million in pre-seed funding to help it expand its operations. Founded in 2023 by engineers Abraham Mohammed and Mubarak Popoola, Rana Energy operates a “Clean Energy-as-a-Service” model, providing solar and battery storage systems to businesses on a subscription basis.
