The wife of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People ofBiafra, IPOB, Uchechi Ukwu, has reacted to the Minister of the Federal CapitalTerritory/’s, readiness to testify in the trial of the Biafra agitator ifsubpoenaed. She said that is the process expected from the court. Kanu had listed Nyesom Wike among other imminent Nigeriansto testify as witnesses in his ongoing trial. The IPOB leader is currently facing charges bordering onterrorism before Justice James Omotosho led Federal High Court in Abuja. Wike had said he would testify as a witness in the ongoingterrorism related trial if he is subpoenaed by the court. Speaking during his monthly media chat, Wike wondered whyKanu included him in the list of witnesses to testify in the trial. He said: “If you see Nnamdi Kanu, you ask him why did helist me? I did not go to say I want to be a witness. So if you see him ask himwhy did you list Wike as one of your witnesses?” Responding, Uchechi posted on X: “Of course. That is theprocess we expect from the court. #FreeNnamdiKanu.”
