The Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the IndigenousPeople of Biafra, IPOB, Aloy Ejimakor, collapsed in Kuje Prison. Following the incident, Ejimakor was rushed to Kuje MedicalCentre where he is receiving treatment. This was disclosed on Saturday by one of Kanu’s lawyers,Maxwell Opara. Asked to confirm Ejimakor’s collapse, Opara said: “Yes, Iwent to see him and he was admitted at Kuje medical centre where they aretreating him, and I left about a few hours ago. “The thing happened before I came, and we arrived therearound 12, and I started hearing the news. “As one of his lawyers and colleagues, I insisted on seeinghim, and they took me to see him. I saw Sowore and others before they took me togo and see him.” This comes 24 hours after the presiding judge of KujeMagistrate Court, Abubakar Umar Sai’id, refused to sign the bail bond for hisrelease. The Special Counsel was arrested on Monday with 12 others, including Kanu’s younger brother, Prince Emmanuel Kanu, during the free NnamdiKanu protest in Abuja. Following their arrest by the Nigeria Police Force, Ejimakorand others were arraigned before the Magistrate Court in Kuje.
