The Nigerian currency, the naira, appreciated further against the American dollar at the official window on Monday. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) foreign exchange data showed that the naira closed at N1,452.79/$1, as against the N1,457.95/$1 it traded on Friday. This represents an appreciation of N5.16 for the local currency against the American greenback.
