The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says the judgment of the Federal High Court will not stop its preparations for the forthcoming nationalconvention. In a statement on Thursday, Debo Ologunagba, PDPspokesperson, described the judgment as “an assault on Nigeria’s democraticprocess.” Ologunagba said despite the judgment, the opposition partyremains “fully empowered” to continue with the processes leading to theconvention, where new national officers will be elected to steer the party’saffairs for the next four years.
