BREAKING: Gov Diri formally joins APC

Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, has formally defected tothe ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.Thousands of supporters of the Governor and his new party, the APC, from all eight local government areas, dressed in white t-shirts, gracedthe occasion in Yenegoa, the state capital.Other supporters were seen signing and drumming along somemajor streets of the state capital. Diri, who resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,recently, formally put speculation to rest by joining the ruling AllProgressives Congress, APC. Already, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno,the Governor of Delta State, Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, and his predecessor,Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, the Governor of Ondo State, Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, formerGovernor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole, Minister of Regional Development,Engineering Abubakar Momoh, have arrived at the state capital for the event.
