Local government areas of Charanci and Batagarawa in Katsina State have successfully engaged armed Fulani groups in a landmark peace dialogue aimed at ending years of violence.The crucial meeting took place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Wurma town, Kurfi Local Government Area.According to Militainment News, the session was attended by Batagarawa LGA Chairman Hon. Yahaya Lawal Kawo, representatives from Charanci Local Government, traditional rulers, and delegates from the forest-based Fulani community.The dialogue concluded on a hopeful note, with representatives of the armed groups pledging to embrace permanent peace and coexist harmoniously with neighboring communities.
