The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has delivered devastating blows to Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists and bandit groups through a series of precision airstrikes across multiple states, effectively neutralizing key threats in the northern region.According to a statement by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information, NAF fighter jets obliterated ISWAP strongholds in Mallam Fatori and Shuwaram areas of Borno State. In Kwara State, bandit hideouts at Garin Dandi and Chigogo were completely destroyed. The onslaught extended to Zango Hill in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State, where another bandit enclave was razed. These coordinated strikes form a critical component of ongoing joint operations under Operation HADIN KAI in the northeast and Operation FANSAN YAMMA in the northwest, targeting terrorist and criminal networks spanning Borno, Kwara, Katsina, Zamfara, and Kaduna. The intensified campaign reflects the Nigerian Air Force's heightened operational momentum, as directed by Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke. By leveraging intelligence-driven airpower, NAF continues to dismantle insurgent capabilities with precision, ensuring minimal collateral impact while safeguarding civilian lives and bolstering national security.
