There was confusion on Tuesday after armed militarypersonnel reportedly prevented the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory(FCT), Nyesom Wike, and officials of the FCTA from accessing a parcel of land. In a video shared by Channels Television, the soldiers wereseen standing guard at the site, blocking the minister and his team. One of theofficers was seen making a phone call, while Wike appeared visibly displeasedand scolded his aides as he attempted to proceed. During the confrontation, one of Wike’s aides was heardtelling the soldiers: “This is unprofessional, you cannot be facing a ministerwith this thing.” The situation escalated into a physical altercation betweenmembers of Wike’s delegation and some of the military personnel. “You send soldiers to intimidate who? We are all from this country.
