There was tension in Izom town, Gurara Local Government Area (LGA) of Niger State, when a petrol-laden tanker fell and exploded. Sources said the incident happened around 8pm on Thursday when the driver lost control of the truck while trying to dodge a pothole in the centre of the road, and was engulfed in fire.
