FULL LIST: Niger Catholic diocese releases names of 265 students, teachers in captivity

The Catholic Diocese of Kontagora, Niger state, has releasedthe names of 265 students and teachers of St Mary’s School, Papiri, who arestill in captivity. On November 21, armed men attacked the school and abducted315 people — including 303 students and 12 teachers. On Sunday, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) inNiger state said 50 students abducted from the school had escaped fromcaptivity. On Monday, the diocese released the names of 239 studentsfrom nursery and primary schools, 14 students from secondary schools, and 12teachers who remain in custody, bringing the total to 265 individuals.
