The Nigerian currency, the naira, appreciated further against the American dollar at the official window on Wednesday. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) foreign exchange data showed that the naira closed at N1,442.92/$1, as against the N1,446.31/$1 it traded on Tuesday. This represents a gain of N3.39 for the local currency against the American greenback.
