According to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Lands and Survey, Dr Abdul Hussaini, who briefed journalists in his office in Minna, these parcels of land, designated for official and public use, are being unlawfully subdivided and sold to private individuals without prior notice, statutory approval from the governor, or compliance with grant conditions.
