The National Working Committee (NWC) of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has ratified the expulsion of Hon. Leke Abejide, the member representing Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, from the party.The decision, which originated from the Kogi State Executive Committee over alleged acts of gross indiscipline, was formally endorsed by the NWC at its meeting held on Thursday at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC stressed that it would not condone any form of indiscipline as it continues to build a party rooted in discipline, character, and integrity.The NWC also directed the Kogi State chapter to immediately commence the process of filling all vacant positions across wards, local government areas, and the state executive in strict compliance with the party’s approved transition guidelines.The party added that a new timeline for the conduct of congresses at all levels will be announced in the coming days.
