NAE faults FG’s cancellation of mother tongue policy, urges restoration

The Nigerian Academy of Education (NAE) has strongly criticised the Federal Government’s decision to scrap the National Language Policy, urging the Minister of Education, Maruf Alausa, to reverse the move and restore the use of mother tongue as the language of instruction at the foundational levels of schooling.
