Many structures inside Abia Hotels, located at 16 Finbarrs Road, Umuahia, have been demolished by the Abia State Government following the revocation of the property’s Certificate of Occupancy and the recovery of the facility from Investment Guarantee Limited. The hotel was pulled down over the weekend by bulldozers after its repossession by the state government.
