The naira on Tuesday recorded its first appreciation against the United States dollar across the official and parallel foreign exchange markets. Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria showed that the currency traded at N1,445.39 per dollar on Tuesday, strengthening from the N1,448.44 recorded on Monday.
