A former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has said thatsome ‘End Bad Governance’ protesters were wrongly arrested. Sani made this statement in a post on his verified X handleon Friday, stressing that some of them were incarcerated as scapegoats by thesecurity forces. This was as he commended the acquittal of some of them bythe Federal High court is a welcome development, describing it as a triumph ofjustice. “I was privileged to visit some of them in Kuje prisonduring their travails. Many of them were wrongly arrested and incarcerated asscapegoats by the security forces. “One of them was a refrigerator and AC technician who knewnothing about the protest. “Another one called Bashir was accused of being givenmillions of dollars when he had just N2,000 in his account. “Kudos to Deji and other members of the legal team,” hesaid.
