The National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, YunusaTanko, says the Nigerian government is deliberately killing democracy in thecountry. Tanko made the allegation on Monday in an interview on AriseTelevision. He urged the international community to come in and dealwith the issue before nothing is left on democracy in Nigeria. “The government of Nigeria is deliberately killingdemocracy. International communities need to come in and deal with with theissue “Nigeria is the most populous Black nation in the world, andif anything happens to its democracy, others will suffer for it. “Because you are in power now, you repeat the same mistakethat other people have already made, that does not grow the system. “But you could also agree with me that we have a majority ofpeople who are in government, and democracy is the best of all kinds ofgovernment at the moment that we all know, except for the process that ismaking it look very ugly and totally unacceptable to Nigeria,” he said.
