Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Dr Matthew Kukah, has visited the leader of the Proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, at the Sokoto correctional center. The Catholic Bishop made the visit on Thursday, December 18, 2025. Kanu’s younger brother Prince Emmanuel Kanu disclosed the meeting in a post on his official Facebook page.
