Habeeb ‘Peller’ Hamzat, the TikTok personality, has issuedan apology after crashing his car during a live stream, an act that led to hisarrest by the police in Lagos. The dangerous stunt, which occurred on Sunday, was condemnedby authorities. The police described the action as “extremely dangerous,”warning it could have had fatal consequences for the influencer and the public. The police thereafter transferred the case to the StateCriminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation. In a video shared on Instagram on Friday, the TikTokerexpressed remorse over the incident, admitting that he allowed his emotions toget the better of him. “I am sorry for everything I did, please I am sorry. I letmy emotions get to me that is why I did what I did,” he said. “I am very sorry please, you can call me anything, abuse me.I am sorry, I did not do it intentionally, please forgive me. Please do notbully Jarvis anymore, leave her, this matter does not concern her, it is all onme.” Peller, who appears to have been released following hisarrest, posted again on Instagram, promising never to repeat such actions. “I am sorry you all, please I will never do such thingagain. I am very very sorry, once I am done with my medication, I will beback,” he wrote. Amid the controversy, Jarvis confirmed that the two hadalready ended their relationship prior to the incident.
