Fast-rising Nigerian singer Odunlami Afolarin Temiloluwa, popularly known as Fola, has shared an emotional memory of an act of kindness he received from his late friend and colleague, Mohbad.Fola, known for songs such as You and his collaborations with BNXN, revealed that the moment remains deeply personal to him more than two years after Mohbad’s tragic death. In a video clip from a recent interview, the Afrobeats singer-songwriter became visibly emotional while reflecting on his relationship with the late artiste. When asked who he would like to share a Coke with if given the opportunity, Fola responded with heartfelt emotion, saying, “I would like to share a Coke with Mohbad. RIP to Mohbad, I can’t forget, he bought me my first iPhone. He bought me an iPhone 6 in 2019.I still miss him, and I still wanna share a Coke with him.” Fola explained that the gesture he referred to took place during the early stages of his music career, highlighting how Mohbad supported him before fame and success found their way into his life.
