Suspected ISWAP fighters launched predawn raids on Ja Jibiri and Ladu villages in Yobe State on December 27, leaving a village head wounded, a driver in captivity and a primary health-care centre ransacked. The attacks, disclosed by counter-insurgency analyst Zagazola Makama in a post on X, occurred at about 12:20 a.m., security sources told Makama.
