Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church, widelyknown as Winners Chapel, has welcomed the United States’ military interventionin Nigeria. No fewer than 12 Tomahawk missiles were fired by the USmilitary into terrorists’ camps in Sokoto State on Christmas night. The airstrikes ordered by President Donald Trump incollaboration with the Nigerian government has brought relief to Nigerians asit signals possible end to the decade-long security issues. Reacting to the development on Sunday, Oyedepo thanked Godfor bringing judgment into the camp of the daredevil killers. According to Oyedepo, those sponsoring terrorism in Nigeriaare now hiding, stating that for the first time in 20 years, the assailants arenow feeling the heat. He said, “I like us not to forget to give thanks to God forthe sudden turnaround in Nigeria, for the first time in nearly 20 years, thepersecutors are smelling because the Holy Ghost called for a seven midnightprayer raid. “You were part of it and the result is here today. All thosewho make others mourn, they will mourn, all those who slaughtered the childrenof others, their own will be slaughtered. “Judgment has begun. Give thanks to God for stepping intothe affairs of Nigeria. “All their sponsors are now hiding, fire is burning andjudgment has landed. For the first time, the persecutors are now becomingpersecuted”.
