Former Minister of Power, Engr. Abubakar D. Aliyu, has successfully organised the 7th Annual Qur’anic Musabaqa (recitation competition) Walima in Yobe State. The Qur’anic recitation competition and Walima were under his Foundation, Ya Zarah Orphan Care Foundation. The event was graced by several Islamic scholars, government officials, traditional title holders, and community leaders across Yobe.
