Israel Ambassador to Nigeria, Michael Freeman, has revealedthe plans of Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, to help Nigeria curbChristian genocide in the country. Speaking during an interview on ‘Prime Time’, a programme onArise Television on Monday, Freeman said Netanyahu’s plan is to useintelligence sharing to help protect Christians in Nigeria. “We will be led by the Nigerian government as to where wecan work and partner to help tackle insecurity as a whole within the country. “Any communication behind the scenes will obviously remainbehind the scenes, but as I said, Prime Minister Netanyahu has made hisposition clear, and so we will do anything we can do in those areas. “And obviously when you’re dealing with issues ofintelligence and information, it’s not something that we’re going to talk aboutpublicly, because that would undermine the entire purpose of having aconversation about intelligence. “What Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke about was Christiansacross the world. He didn’t only speak about Christians in Nigeria. He spokeabout Christians across the world. “And he highlighted the fact that Israel is the only countryin the Middle East where the Christian population is growing. And I think thatwas the point that Prime Minister Netanyahu was making,” he said.
