Imo State Police Command has named Inspectors Charles Abaneke and Cordelia Aweleka as the officers who demanded a N100,000 bribe before documenting an alleged defilement case of a minor. A 24-year-old male, Wisdom Onyeaju, now detained was accused of raping a minor during the Yuletide festivities in Umuekweye, Irete in the Owerri-West local government area.
