Tinubu’s supporters backing Peter Obi for ADC ticket – Adeyanju

Activist lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has said frontlinesupporters of President Bola Tinubu are backing Peter Obi to emerge as thepresidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC. Adeyanju said Tinubu’s major supporters like the Minister ofAviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, and former governor of EkitiState, Ayodele Fayose, are supporting Obi to emerge as ADC candidate. He was reacting to Fayose’s remark that Obi is the only lifein ADC. Fayose had said: “Peter Obi is the only life in ADC. Otherlives there are semi-existing. Atiku and Tambuwal destroyed PDP.” Posting on X, Adeyanju wondered why they are afraid of aNorthern presidential candidate. He wrote: “Why are all major Tinubu supporters promotingPeter Obi their man Friday? From Keyamo to Fayose, etc; they want the coalitionto present Obi. “Why does it look like they are afraid of a northerncandidate, especially the serial contester Atiku? Their fear is too obvious.”
