The Confederation of Sahel States, AES, has condemned the attack on Diori Hamani International Airport and Air Base 101 in Niamey, Niger, which occurred on the night of January 28–29. The condemnation was contained in a statement issued and signed in Ouagadougou on January 31, in which the confederation described the assault as a coordinated operation
