The incident occurredon Wednesday night at the state’s anniversary dinner and award ceremony inIbadan, attended by government officials and other dignitaries. During the programme, the event compere made a light-heartedrequest, inviting Mrs. Makinde to plant a kiss on the governor. In thecirculating video, Mrs. Makinde leaned towards him following the prompt, butthe governor turned his face away, declining the gesture.
