APC thinks everyone is thief like them – El-Rufai

Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has blastedthe ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, saying it things everyone is a thieflike them when in government. Speaking during an interview on ‘Prime Time’, a programme onArise Television on Friday, El-Rufai said the current administration isdesperate and determined to bring down anyone who is not on their side. Recall that operatives of the Department of State Services,DSS, attempted to arrest him on Thursday, a development which has sparkedwidespread debate in every quarter of the country. “The current administration is desperate and determined tobring down everyone. They think we were thieves like them when in government. “They have investigated me since June 2023 and have foundnothing. They arrested my former Chief of Staff and Commissioner for Finance,and virtually all my senior officials have been interrogated and charged tocourt with frivolous charges, and nothing has been found. “They are using my successor, Uba Sani, as the enabler. Ihave worked in public office from 1999 to 2007. I challenge any Nigeria to comeout and expose me if I ever took one aided bribe while in public office,”El-Rufai said.
