Rosy Meurer addresses rumour she unfollowed Churchill after his reconciliation with Tonto Dikeh

Rosy Meurer, the Nollywood actress, has denied rumours of acrisis in her marriage to businessman Olakunle Churchill. Taking to her Instagram page on Wednesday, Meurer addressedthe speculation, insisting that her relationship with Churchill remains strongand intact. The rumours began circulating after it was noticed thatMeurer had seemingly unfollowed her husband on Instagram. This was hours after Churchill travelled to Lagos tocelebrate his son’s 10th birthday — a child from his previous marriage withactress Tonto Dikeh. The timing of the unfollowing fuelled online gossip thatall was not well between the couple. However, in a series of posts, Meurer shared footageconfirming that her Instagram followership with Churchill dates back to 2017,long before they were married. She clarified that she had not unfollowed him and had nointention of ever doing so. “I have no reason to unfollow my husband. Thank you verymuch. And I did not unfollow my husband. I do not know what technical issue. Ido not know what games anyone is playing somewhere on the ground,” she said. “I am not that petty. And I have never unfollowed myhusband, and I never will. So, you guys are going to wait for a very long time.If I do eventually unfollow him, you will be the first to know.” Meurer also took the opportunity to reaffirm her happinessin the marriage, saying, “I am in this marriage because I want to be in thismarriage. I am being treated well. I am happy. If my husband is okay with me, Ido not have a problem”. She also addressed rumours about her connection to Dikeh.Churchill and Dikeh’s union, which began in 2015, ended controversially in2017, leading to years of public disputes between the former couple. Contrary to online speculation, Meurer dismissed claims thatshe was ever friends with Dikeh or that she played a role in the end of theirmarriage. She revealed she has no relationship with her colleague.
