Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has been appointed chairman of the aspirants' screening committee for the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2026 national convention.Oyebanji was inaugurated alongside other members of the 42-member committee during a ceremony at the party's national headquarters in Abuja on Thursday (or Wednesday, per some reports; ceremony held this week).The committee is responsible for screening and verifying the credentials of all aspirants seeking elective national positions at the convention, ensuring compliance with the APC constitution, guidelines, and relevant regulations.In remarks following his inauguration, Oyebanji expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in him by the party leadership.
