The Federal Capital Territory, FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike hasexpressed optimism that he will overwhelmingly defeat any opponent if hecontests for presidency. Wike, who made the assertion on Monday during a media chatwith selected journalists, said Nigerians love him. “Nigerians still love me, and if I run for the presidentialelection, they will vote for me massively”. The Minister emphasized that he can easily connect withordinary Nigerians, pointing out that his achievements as former Rivers StateGovernor and current FCT Minister will always speak for him. Wike also expressed confidence that even if the recentlyconcluded council election in the nation’s capital should be repeated, hisloyalists will still win.
