The leadership of South West of the Islamic Movement ofNigeria, IMN, on Monday staged a protest in Lagos State over the killing ofIran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei by US and Israeli strikes. The protesters converged around the Maryland axis in theearly hours of Monday, denouncing the invasion of Iran. It was gathered that the protesters were chatting withprovocative words, demanding global condemnation of American intervention insovereign nations. The development has triggered fear in the area. South West coordinator of IMN, Muftau Zakariya, who spoke toLeadership Newspaper, said the protest was to register their concerns oversustained Invasion of sovereign nations by the President Donald Trump’sadministration. He cited recent instances of Venezuela’s Invasion andseizing of the country’s president and energy infrastructure.
