The Obidient Movement North Central has warned thoseattacking or threatening the life of former Labour Party’s presidentialcandidate, Peter Obi. It warned that like President Donald Trump of the UnitedStates, US, Obi would outlive all those threatening his life. This was contained in statement forwarded to DAILY POST bythe National Coordinator of the Movement, Yunusa Tanko, on Wednesday, titled:“Warning to those attacking or threatening Peter Obi.” The movement urged Obi’s attackers to have a rethink andsave Nigeria from the unimaginable consequences of their wicked and callousactions. The statement reads: “As you must have known what thesubject matter is, we also want to let you know that we have taken our time toinvestigate what happened in Edo State, what led to it, those behind thedastardly act, their subsequent threats, and what is likely their next move. “That is why we did not rush out with a statementimmediately. “And now, armed with the knowledge and intel of what playedout and what is playing out, we, the members of the Obedient Movement of theNorth Central Zone wish to sound this note of warning to those who have takenit upon themselves to make sure they turn this country into another Somalia byunnecessarily provoking the peace-loving millions of Obedient Movement membersworldwide by threatening or attacking the person of our principal, H.E. Mr.Peter Gregory Obi. “Be it known to you all wishing PO death that just as Trumpsurvived every attack during his campaigns and went ahead to win thepresidential election with an unprecedented landslide victory and he is todayrescuing the world from the grip of wicked men without conscience like those ofyou in Nigeria, so shall Peter Gregory Obi outlive all of you and he will goahead and win the 2027 presidential election with a landslide victory andsuccessfully carry out the mission of rescuing Nigeria from the crime scenewhich you have turned the country into. That is what the God Most High calledhim to do and that purpose must be fulfilled.”
