FIFA have found both the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, and the Congolese Football Association, CFA, guilty of separate infractions during the 2026 World Cup play-off match played in November 2025. According to Sports Village Square, the world football governing body noted that Nigeria was penalized for a breach relating to order and security at matches.
