Tunji Disu, the inspector-general of police (IGP), has ordered the posting of newly promoted senior officers to various zones and departments within the Nigeria Police Force (NPF). The affected senior officers were recently promoted to the rank of assistant inspector-general of police (AIG). Moshood Jimoh, who until his promotion served as Lagos commissioner of police (CP), will now head zone 2, Lagos, while Olatunji Fatai will replace him as CP.
