Lassa fever deaths rise to 135 as fatality rate hits 26.2%

Abuja: The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) has recorded 135 deaths from Lassa fever as of Epidemiological Week 10 of 2026, with the case fatality rate rising to 26.2 per cent, according to the latest situation report.
