Accord Party Fixes N15m for Governorship Nomination Forms Ahead of 2027 Polls

The Accord Party has announced its nomination fees for the 2027 general elections, setting the total cost for governorship forms at N15 million. Lagos State Chairman of the party, Mr Dele Oladeji, disclosed this in a statement on Friday following the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held in Abuja on Wednesday. According to Oladeji, governorship aspirants will pay N10 million for the nomination form and N5 million for the expression of interest form. Other fees approved include: Senate: N5 million (nomination) and N2.5 million (expression of interest) House of Representatives: N3.5 million (nomination) and N1.5 million (expression of interest) State House of Assembly: N1 million (nomination) and N500,000 (expression of interest) The party warned that its electoral window will close on April 25, with membership registration and purchase of nomination forms ending on April 26. Primary elections are scheduled to begin on May 21. Oladeji called on Nigerians, particularly residents of Lagos, to join the Accord Party for a change in governance, promising to field patriotic leaders who will reform the state and bring a human face to governance.
