Ogun CP Seeks Stronger Collaboration with Army, DSS, NIS, Others to Tackle Insecurity

The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, CP Bode Ojajuni, has called for enhanced inter-agency collaboration among security outfits to strengthen operational synergy and improve the fight against crime and insecurity in the state. Ojajuni made the call during a series of familiarisation visits to top security chiefs, which began on Tuesday. He visited the 35 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC). Both leaders emphasised the need to consolidate the existing military-police partnership in internal security operations. They agreed to improve joint operational frameworks, enhance intelligence-driven deployments, synchronise patrols in flashpoints, and strengthen rapid response mechanisms to address violent crimes, communal tensions, and other security threats.
