The Nigerian Senate has granted approval for a syndicated financing facility amounting to $516,333,700 designated for the construction of the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway. This decision was made during a plenary session on Wednesday, following the consideration and endorsement of a report by the Senate Committee on Local and Foreign Debts. The approval was prompted by a request from President Bola Tinubu, which was communicated in a letter dated April 20.
